INTRO
I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Marissa Gravelle, and I am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Licensed Professional Counselor-In Training (LPC-IT). While I have a strong passion for supporting individuals navigating major life transitions, disability adjustment, and personal growth, I welcome anyone seeking support in creating a meaningful and fulfilling life they love to live.
APPROACH
I believe that counseling is not a one-size-fits-all process. I incorporate a variety of evidence-based approaches to create a personalized experience that meets each client's individual needs and goals. My primary therapeutic modalities include Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel empowered to heal, grow, and live a life that aligns with your values and vision.
EDUCATION
I earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Rehabilitation Psychology and Health Promotion & Health Equity from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2024. During my undergraduate education, I gained extensive experience working with youth (ages 5–20) with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This work deepened my passion for helping individuals recognize their strengths and achieve their goals.
I went on to pursue a Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, graduating in May 2026. Throughout my practicum and internship experiences, I worked in a variety of settings, including mental health counseling, forensic rehabilitation, and vocational rehabilitation. These experiences allowed me to develop a well-rounded understanding of the diverse challenges individuals may face and the unique paths they take toward growth and healing.
AGE RANGE

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and making memories with friends and family. I also love attending concerts, traveling, and exploring both new destinations and favorite vacation spots. I believe in the importance of balance, connection, and finding joy in life's experiences—values that I strive to bring into both my personal life and my work with clients.
